mike ive been here all day but i had to work on my spanish project and a bunch of other stuff, anyways i think you both need to calm down and stop yelling and and most importantly STOP DELETING MY POSTS RYAN I SHOULD HAVE LIKE 60 BUT YOU GUYS KEEP DELETING MY POSTS!!!!!!

November 6, 1702

I have landed in Williamsburg, in the Providence of Virginia. It is now dawn, by the time I arrived. I came here on a vessel by the name of Glory. It was a terrible ride lasting days, even weeks. I had lost count. But stepping onto the fresh, new soil of America the ride was worth it. When I had searched all of town looking for a place, I found a slum of a lodge on the fringes of the town. It was located near a small farm; since I had little money, I decided to ask for a job. He were also desperate for money, but agreed, he told me to be at the farm everyday starting in the morning and ending at midday, starting tomorrow. The farmer’s name was Benjamin. He said that they would also feed me lunch, they are polite people. They told me that they had cleared the land interrupted by many snakes, said I might meet with many more. Showed me that they mainly grew a vegetable I have only heard of: corn, told me what you could make of it and it was an important vegetable, even right down to the outhouse; disgusting. They also raise cattle. They had showed me my jobs. I went back to my lodge and hit they hay, literally.

November 7, 1702

I woke up, went to the farms to do my duty, it isn’t easy. Like he had said there were snakes. Afterwards I went into town, found it quite pleasurable and dined at the market, not at all resembling a bistro. I saw many unique foods that I have never seen before, but very delicious. There was a numerous quantity of festival themes, such as, sports, “Quilting Bees”, and many more things of interest.

November 9, 1702

I woke and finish my job, it hit me and I realized that there are different class groups its based upon money instead of blood. I headed for town for my new routine for lunch. But I had just then recognized that there were Native Americans, but so little of them. I had stayed the rest of the day in town. I met the farmer that I work for in town he had told me that he was having a wedding and wanted to invite me. So I agreed, because I had not anything in addition to do.

November 10, 1702

To day was the day of the wedding. I had nothing new to wear since I had got to America, so went to town to buy a new shirt and pants, at the market. While I was there I got some lunch and headed for the wedding at the church. I got there to see all of my new friends that I had made in the square market. We had a entertaining time; we had jigs and many conversations especially about the politics. Also they talked about education, how they don’t have the time to teach their children how to read & write, they are always working, and if they can they have to travel a long time to get to the school-house-shack. They are always busy working out on the fields to help put food on the table. Most of the people of the colony are Methodists or Catholics.

November 11, 1702

The past days have been hard but very educational to me. I have learned so many new things. Today I woke-up and headed for the farm. But he was not there, I went to town to see if he was there, no. I asked my friend where he went off to. He told me he had died, when he was walking home from the wedding and a bear had “interrupted” his walk home. “They were having a funeral for him, tomorrow” he had also told me. He told me what funerals were like. He said that they were common because of diseases. It is a sad thing, but we always end up having fun.
